I had created a post on Wednesday about leaving for Vegas, but I must have done something weird because it didn't work out too well...
So, we are now in Vegas (got here late Wed. night) and it's been a blast. We are staying at the Paris (except tonight me and Carl are staying at the Bellagio). The first night, when we got here it was about 1am eastern time, but we didn't want to call it a night on our first night, so we checked the place out a little, ate at a small cafe, and finally made it to bed at 6am eastern time! Rough. But we got to sleep in and sleep at the pool so it didn't really matter. We spent about 4 hours at the pool and then went over to the Forum Shops at Caesar's and looked around there. Last night, while everyone else went to Phantom of the Opera, Carl and I saw "Ka" which is one of the Cirque du Soleil shows. It was so much fun.
Then, we met up with the rest of the fam for dinner.
Today we are spending more time at the pool, shopping, going to the "O" Show (another Cirque) and eating at Bobby Flay's restaraunt. I'm not sure what's on the docket for tomorrow.
Though most people think Vegas is sin city and all there is to do here is gamble...but come and experience the food, shows, shopping and sun and you'll see that there's way more to Vegas than gambling!!!
